Buddy Bliss Dog Wash Shampoo
Buddy Bliss Dog Wash Shampoo
For a squeaky clean, blissed-out doggie! Enhanced with pure premium citrus essential oils. A delicious, concentrated shampoo for dogs (but not for cats) to eliminate odors without synthetic perfume (ie “fragrance on a label is how you know that the aroma is from synthetic perfume).
How and why skin allergies develop in our dogs can be hard to identify. But one thing is FOR SURE … choose your dog wash carefully! Buddy Bliss is gentle, yet effective, with big bubbles and a delightful aroma that won’t offend a dog’s sensitive nose like conventional shampoos loaded with synthetic fragrance.
So, if you’re on the hunt for a truly natural, 100% plant-derived shampoo for your precious doggie, one that rinses fast and clean, is super concentrated (dilute 1:1 or more), and soothes irritable skin, your search is definitely over.
No Fragrances + No Dyes or SLS + No Parabens + No Formaldehyde.
100% Plant-derived ingredients, mostly organic ingredients.
It’s more than just a good idea to choose a mild, quick-rinsing, sulfate-free, alcohol-free, synthetic fragrance-free wash for our precious pooches.
My gentle dog wash is a premium, silk, protein-enhanced shampoo that offers mild cleansing to nourish fur/hair and skin and leave your doggie smelling deliciously clean and fresh!
Silk and gluten-free oat proteins leave the coat silky and smooth. Panthenol and vitamins nourish the fur and skin, and lactic acid gently exfoliates the skin surface. The sudsing action is satisfyingly rich yet rinses away clean and fast.
My blend of citrus essential oils deodorizes and nourishes naturally. Unlike conventional dog shampoo with their strong, chemical perfumes, which I’m sure are rather offensive to sensitive noses, the aroma of my Buddy Bliss is very pleasing. It is quite noticeable while bathing, then barely detectable once dry.

I like to mix up a batch in an empty bottle 1 part shampoo to 1 part water for quick rinsing and a not-so-dirty dog.
Use full strength or 1:1 with water if you have a very dirty, stinky dog!
HELPFUL TIP: Fill a spray bottle with 1 part shampoo and 3 parts water. This has become my favorite way to ensure I am not using too much. It also helps keep the soap out of the doggies' eyes when washing their faces. It’s a great way to get the underbelly and bum, too.
HELPFUL TIP: Always Always Always use a high-quality conditioner! Do not skip this vital step. Shampoo and dog wash will do what it is supposed to do: remove dirt, debris, AND vital oils. If these precious oils are not replaced, especially for “hair” breeds like poodles, you run the very real risk of skin damage (itchy skin) and a dull coat over time. Choose a high-quality conditioner that is suitable for leaving in, one you would use for yourself, which is enhanced with essential oils (NOT PERFUME OR FRAGRANCE). May I suggest my Cream Rinse Conditioner for you AND your dog? Dilute 1:1 with water.
A note on allergies
There is no such thing as "hypoallergenic" - it is a marketing term, and it is also dangerous for anyone to make that claim. Always test any new skincare product on a small patch of skin to determine sensitivities.
Did you know?
There is a lot of misinformation about the "proper" pH of dog shampoo. Dog shampoo manufacturers go to great lengths to perpetuate myths that dog shampoo must have a neutral pH. Research shows that the body tightly controls the pH of the skin and that hair care products have no effect whatsoever on the health of the skin. That said, the pH of this shampoo is slightly acidic, about 5.5, which is perfect for people and dogs.
