Foaming Charcoal Cleansing Powder: AHA + Aloe

from $16.00

You might have used a powdered botanical scrub in the past - but one that FOAMS?! I hope you’ll try it!

What makes my powdered scrub different? I include a small amount of mild soapy ingredients (ECOCERT OF COURSE) which gently removes light makeup and sunscreen, leaving skin feeling so silky smooth. You can mix it with just plain old water, but I suggest honey and oil for most skin types. However you choose to mix it up, YOU customize it to suit what your skin needs. That might change over time due to climate and age. Simply pour some powder in the container, add your prefered liquid and mix. Make enough to last about a week or 10 days, then make fresh batch.

4 oz and 2 oz glass bottle, comes with detailed instructions, a mixing spoon and an empty container to mix your weekly batch of cleanser. Now with my garden mint for a mild aroma and more skin love.

Packed full of botanical goodness - but NO PRESERVATIVE, NO EMULSIFIER, ZERO SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCE.

MADE WITH ORGANIC + WILD HARVESTED + ECOCERT INGREDIENTS + VEGAN

FOR ALL SKIN TYPES: choose your liquid based on skin type, climate, and time of year.

ONLY EXFOLIATE (OR USE SOAPY CLEANSERS) AT THE END OF THE DAY … New skin cells revealed by exfoliating are NOT ready to handle the stress of the day, especially solar rays which cause almost 90% of skin damage over time. During sleep, our bodies focus on renewal and restoration. The skin is no different.

After restorative sleep, our skin is at its strongest, and the Acid Mantle has been restoring and is better prepared to take on the day stres’s stress.

To freshen up in the morning, it is a good practice to simply splash with warm water, pat dry, tone with hydrosol water, and apply a moisturizer and mineral sunscreen (and makeup).

AFTER MORNING WORKOUT: to gently remove sweat and sebum without disrupting the skin’s acid mantle, I strongly suggest that you try cleansing with honey after your workout. Honey is a mild solvent, able to effectively remove sweat and sebum, and help the skin shed loose skin cells. Try this approach for one month and you will see improvements in your skin condition. LEARN MORE. about how to incorporate pure, raw honey into your routine, and consider adding my Infused Honey Cleanser to your order.

Check out a few reviews for my foaming cleanser - I think these say it best.

HOW TO MIX & USE THIS SCRUB:

For just about everyone I recommend mixing the powder with oil and honey.  Choose a cleansing oil blend or a single oil such as Sweet Almond, Apricot, Grape seed, Hemp seed, olive oil, etc. (found in the skincare aisle of health food stores).

For complete details INSTRUCTIONS

Each bottle of cleansing grains includes a small, empty, lidded container in which you mix your batch. Make just enough to last about a week, keep the lid on tight, and avoid contaminating with water.

After a week, discard any remaining in the jar, wash and dry the jar, and mix up a new batch.

ONLY EXFOLIATE YOUR SKIN AT THE END OF THE DAY. In order to ensure that our skin cells are fully mature and able to take on the stress of the day, exfoliate at night. By the time morning comes, our skin has had time to rest and renew. Our skin is at it’s strongest in the morning, better equipped to do it’s important jobs.

DO NOT USE THIS SCRUB AS A MASK: due to the fact that this formula contains soapy stuff, you do not want to leave it on the skin as a mask. Apply to damp skin, scrub for a 10-20 seconds, then splash with warm water to remove and wipe with a warm, wet washcloth.

ONLY ONE APPLICATION: This scrub effectively removes all debris and you only need to scrub once with it. If you desire a second cleanse, please use honey for that.

APPLY TO DAMP SKIN: Some cleanser are applied to dry skin, like my new Cold Cream cleanser and cleansing oils. THIS SCRUB must be applied to damp skin, it is too scrubby to use on dry skin.
