RevitalEYES Eye Cream: Day + Night

$31.00

Dark circles, puffiness, fine lines? Enter RevitalEYES Day + Night Nourishing Eye Cream with Hyaluronic acid.

Caffeine does a lot of the heavy lifting here: it’s a vasoconstrictor, constricting blood vessels, reducing puffiness and the appearance of dark circles. It also offers anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits, protecting the delicate skin around the eye and improving overall skin appearance.

Apply day AND night above and below your eyes to support healthy skin function and protect against photoaging and oxidative stress.

RevitalEYES is suitable for all skin types. It has a rich, creamy texture and is unlikely to cause irritation.

There are no essential oils and no aroma. Gender neutral, 100% plant-based.

Comes in a .5 ounce glass jar.

What causes sagging skin, dark circles, and puffiness?

Genetics play the starring role in this unfolding drama, along with time, stress, and lifestyle choices. Scroll down for a deeper dive ...

Guys? Take note

A good eye cream will introduce you to the benefits of well-formulated skin care. Guys have thicker skin than women - literally, it is about 33% thicker than the skin of women of similar age and genetics, so men tend not to notice the first signs of aging until a little later than women. But time does march on. The first signs of that for guys is usually the formation of fine lines and crow’s feet. My eye cream also makes a nice gift for the guys in your life who want to begin supporting healthy aging.

Crow’s feet, fine lines, sagging

The skin surrounding the eyes doesn’t have as many oil glands or collagen as the rest of our face, so it’s less dense and more prone to early signs of aging. As we age, new protein fiber production slows, and the skin begins to lose its elasticity and bounce, which is provided by abundant collagen and elastin in our youth. As time passes, we experience the onset of sagging skin, more lines, and deepening wrinkles.

Puffiness, aka “bags”

Also associated with a reduction in protein synthesis, which causes sagging, the puffiness we so endearingly call “eye bags” is due in part to the loss of collagen needed for our skin to feel smooth, firm, and plump. As we age, the fat pads that surround our eyes will often slip, creating puffiness that we perceive as bags.

Dark Circles

Lack of sleep? Yes, this contributes to dark circles. And dark circles can be made to look more pronounced due to allergies, drinking too much alcohol, and consuming too much salt. But the primary cause of dark circles is GENETICS. (If you have concerns that the cause of dark circles is more serious, seek the advice of a physician. More serious conditions that manifest in dark circles include anemia or iron deficiency, and/or deficiencies in other vitamins).

Allergies? Sensitive Eyes?

This formula is very unlikely to irritate the delicate skin around your eyes, but that said, there is always a chance it might!

If you have sensitive skin or eye allergies, please proceed with extreme caution. Check for sensitivities when trying any new product or routine, especially one used near your eyes.

If you ever experience irritation, sting, or tingle upon application of anything to your skin, you should remove it immediately. These are signs of irritation: Gently remove with cool or warm water. Apply a cold, damp washcloth to the affected area and discontinue use.
