A great all-around salve for everyone with rough, parched hands and anywhere you have chapped, rough skin AND dog paws.
I craft this silky salve with just seed butters, oils, and natural waxes and infuse it with wild Yarrow I collect from the forest in the summer. This Bliss Salve has been part of my world since I made it for my dog in 2003! It’s a foundation of my endeavor and a customer favorite.
Mostly, it seems that the humans use my salve. but because it’s entirely edible and preservative-free. If your doggie has rough, cracked paws or their paws need some protection from hot or cold surfaces they can use it too. It also helps heal wounds wounds and hot spots. I should mention that customers report it helps relieve dry skin eczema.
*** Guys love it too! Maybe it's the delicious citrus aroma, or maybe cause it's for doggies so it can't be THAT girlie! My husband uses it to heal and condition the rough, cracked skin on his knees. He’s a carpenter and they take a beating.
Best applied to skin which has soaked up water, so get the best results when applied after bathing and handwashing.

I craft this salve with organic, unrefined, and wildcrafted ingredients, no water or preservatives & lots of love.
I’ve made a few tweaks and upgrades to the formula - I’m now using Buckwheat beeswax which imparts a darker yellow color, and raw, unrefined Illipe butter, a unique seed butter obtained from the nuts of the Shorea stenoptera, a tropical tree. Illipe Butter is very similar in nature to cocoa butter and is a lovely dark green color. This imparts a green hue tove the Bliss Salve.

FOR DOGS: Keeping paw pads supple reduces splits and cracks which can become painful and sore. Dry, rough paw pads are vulnerable to further damage caused by heat cold, snow and ice.
FOR PEOPLE: Used regularly this salve will help heal cracks and splits on fingers, hands, feet, elbows and more! FOR BEST RESULTS apply to warm skin right after bathing and hand washing - it will soak up moisture (water) and the salve seals it in.

I craft handmade, small batch, artisanal products. Minor variation from batch to batch can be expected.
Paw Bliss contains no preservatives. If handled with care and never contaminated with water it retains a long shelf life of 2 years.
A note on allergies: there is no such thing as "hypoallergenic" - it is a marketing term and it is also dangerous for anyone to make that claim. Always test any new skin care product on a small patch of skin to determine sensitivities.
