My “super-fatted” artisanal, old-fashioned, bar soaps are made with over 50% Olive Oil, plus other skin-loving oils then enhanced with essential oils. The addition of botanical ingredients, many of which I collect from the local forest or grow in my garden, creates a delightful hard bar with nice lather and a long life.

Conditioning and very emollient, containing naturally occurring glycerin, these artisan soaps will leave your skin clean and nourished. (A note about Glycerin: Glycerin is a naturally occurring compound in our skin. It can also be purified from vegetables and it’s created during the saponification of oils to make soap. It’s a very effective, totally natural skin conditioner. It is commonly removed from commercially produced soaps because it is a very valuable by-product of soap making. Rest assured, all my soaps contain all of their skin-loving glycerin.)

These wee bars of soap are a great way to try out a new scent, to give as a gift, and as stocking stuffers. Perhaps you’ll consider having a supply on hand to leave out for your overnight guests to enjoy. They make great wedding favors too!

CITRUS SORBET: Orange and Ylang Ylang (with Aloe & Shea)

LAVENDER LEMONGRASS: (OCT. 16, I’ve removed this variant but it will be available again at some point - I need to revisit the formula) Lavender + Lemongrass essential oils + Mica (with Aloe & Shea)

LAVENDER FLOWERS: Lavender essential oil plus Colorado Lavender Buds and Lavender Powder (with Shea Butter)

MANY THIEVES: Lemon, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Clove, Cinnamon. Kaolin Clay, Rhassoul Clay, Activated Charcoal, Iron Oxide, Ultramarine pigment.

MOUNTAIN LAUREL: May Chang (Litsea Cubeba, a citrus fruit) with Aloe + Shea butter.

MOUNTAIN MEADOW: Lavender + Lemongrass + Palmarosa + Cedarwood + Geranium + Clary Sage (with Aloe)

HONEY + OAT +GOAT: Oats,  local honey + fresh goat's milk + vanilla (with Aloe)

PINE DROPS: Fir needle essential oil, crushed spruce needles from the local forest.

TEA TREE + MINT: Tea Tree + Cajeput plus Peppermint Leaves + Parsley Powder. (with Aloe & Shea)

SAGE + LEMONGRASS: lemongrass + dalmatian sage (with Aloe & Shea plus dried locally harvested sage leaves)

WILD MOUNTAIN ROSE: Geranium Rose, Palmarosa, Rose Absolute plus Pink Clay, Rose hips Powder (with Aloe & Shea)

WILD FOREST: Colorado Lavender + Fir Needle, l (with Shea and locally harvested spruce needles)
